I've had the first Edie Brickell solo album on my desk for a few weeks now...or rather, a compilation that I made a few years ago with the songs that I liked off the album. I'd pulled it out meaning to listen to it on the way to work. Today I've been cleaning off my desk and popped in into iTunes as a soundtrack for the day.
I totally forgot about how good this song is.
mostly because it reminds me SO much of this:
Tomorrow Comes always got more plays off the Edie album that anything else since it's about 120bpm and I could play it at The Wave in between band sets, but damn...this is a jam. I wonder if I could put together an edit of this to make it longer.
